The spiderman question

Marc Andreessen on product roles merging, FigJam MCP, tune-up days & more.

We were joking with a friend about who’s pointing at who in the classic Spiderman meme: the PM, the designer, or the engineer. AI is making it possible for some colleagues to do all three. The walls are coming down.

This week’s curation reflects that blur. Get a coffee & enjoy your Sunday morning.

None of this is sponsored. Just stuff I truly enjoyed.

Reddit for Claudes/Clawdbot | 📺 Theo t3 (YouTube)

  • Different AIs chatting on a Reddit clone, optimized for the viral Clawdbot (now OpenClaw, after they got sued by Anthropic)

  • Very entertaining & thought-provoking

Marc Andreessen on | 🎙️ Lenny’s Podcast

  • Interesting take on the roles of PMs, designers & engineers merging & what that means in terms of personal development & skill relevance

Marc: “Every coder now believes they can also be a PM & a designer because they have AI. Every PM thinks they can be a coder & a designer, and then every designer knows they can be a PM & a coder. They’re actually all kind of correct. What happens is, the additive effect of being good at two things is more than double. The additive effect of being good at three things is more than triple. You become a super relevant specialist in the combination of the domains.”

  • Also talks about how he (as a billionaire with access to the latest & greatest tech before everybody else) raises his 10-year old, why learning to code is still relevant (fully agree) & more

“Tune-up” days | 📺 Kyle, on Dive Club

  • Add new AI tools, workflows, concepts you want to explore, etc. to a backlog to revisit on the weekend & have Claude act as a tutor

  • Personal set-up:

    • Created a Linear “Tune-up” project

    • Add items via Linear Raycast extension in seconds

    • Work through backlog on off time, creating learning projects & tasks with Claude Code (might do a deep-dive video on this soon)

  • If you buy into Marc Andreessen’s stance, this seems like a good habit to start building…

FigJam in Claude Code | 🧑‍💻 Tool / New MCP

  • You can now ask Claude stuff like “illustrate how awesome the FigJam MCP is for my newsletter” & it will create FigJam files like the one below

  • 1st thing to add to your “Tune-up” days backlog?

Part 5 of a short intro series on how I teach friends to start building with AI.

▶ i gave lovable two prompts. one was A LOT better

Next videos will focus on whatever I’m obsessing over in any given week (e.g., a Mac app, allowing my sales colleagues to build personalized & branded slides in 5 seconds after a client call).

Subscribe on YouTube to catch new video episode as they drop.

Can’t stop thinking about the spiderman meme. What’s your take? Are the walls between PM, designer & engineer coming down for you too?
